We are currently seeking candidates with team management skills and who are passionate about retailing and operations management for a position at our Vaughan store. You are known for your leadership, team-building and customer focus skills, as well as for your operational know-how.


The chosen candidate will assist the Store Manager in supervising daily operations and act as a go-to person for the nearly 160-strong team of employees. The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and makes a significant contribution to the achievement of the store’s business objectives, most notably by:


  • Coaching and motivating the store management team in conjunction with the Store Manager
  • Participating in achieving the store’s financial objectives by proposing relevant sales and cost management actions
  • Acting as an ambassador dedicated to improving the customer experience
  • Participating in the employee selection process of various departments
  • Actively participating in the training and integration of new employee
  • Promoting and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
  • Coordinating merchandising activities in conjunction with the Store Manager
  • Participating in inventory management and inventory counts
  • Managing customer requests in a proactive manner
  • Actively participating in promotional events

Profile :

We are seeking a candidate with the following profile:
  • Three years of management experience in a big box store
  • Knowledge of MS Office software
