Department Team Lead, Fishing

We are currently seeking candidates who are team players, as well as passionate about retailing and fishing, for our fishing department at our Quebec store. You are known for your people skills and technical knowledge, as well as for your client-focused approach.
The chosen candidate will report to the Department Manager and act as the go-to person for 5 to 10 department employees. The Department Team Leader also contributes significantly to the management of department operations, most notably by:
- Offering clients outstanding customer service
- Being the department go-to person for questions and issues related to products, as well as store policy and standard
- Proposing sales and customer-service related actions to improve department performance
- Actively participating in the training and integration of new employees
- Coordinating daily department activities in conjunction with the Department Manager
- Participating in merchandising, inventory management and inventory counts
- Actively participating in promotional events
Profile :
We are seeking a candidate with the following profile:- Experience in a supervisory position
- Experience in retail sales, customer service, or the outdoor industry
