Price matching policy

Competitor price matching requests will be granted if the prices are current, dated and nationally advertised*.  The following exceptions are applicable:

1)      Items to be price matched must be an exact match (i.e. color, pattern, model, size, and year.)

2)      Website prices will only be honored from local stores, meaning a competitor’s retail store within the province of the respective SAIL retail store.

3)      Sail will not honor promotions of supply companies, wholesale, clearance outlets, manufacturer's sales, closing sales or membership clubs.

4)      We will not match private label merchandise.

5)      We will not honor "buy one, get one free" offers.

6)      We will not price match any out-of-stock item.

*All conditions on the competitor’s advertisement will apply (i.e. limited quantities, special purchases).

Publication errors of any kind will not be matched.

All price matches must be verifiable; a verifiable copy of the advertisement, complete with store name, promotion dates, and model numbers.

All price matches are subject to approval, at the store, at the time of purchase.

Methods of Payment

Payments by VISA, MASTERCARD or MONEY ORDER are accepted.

Minimum purchase order is $100 before taxes.

Shipping Policy

Shipment of certain products by mail is forbidden. These products include camping fuel and ammunition.

A minimum $5 handling fee will apply on all shipments. Shipping charges may vary depending on the size and weight of the items ordered.

Return Policy

The return of unworn and unused merchandise in its original packaging is accepted. Receipts are required for all returns. There is a 15-day refund policy and 30-day exchange policy.    

Sales of merchandise with a 40 % discount and more are final. Gift cards, firearms, ammunition, crossbows, knives, telescopes, electronic devices, DVDs, software, underwear, socks, bike shorts, pepper spray and food cannot be refunded nor exchanged. Items must be cleaned when brought in for repair or service covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.

Trial Program

A trial program exists for canoes, kayaks and snowshoes at affordable rates, subject to availability.
