Information concerning our new service:

  • Our curbside pickup service is reserved solely for orders made by phone at our Quebec City location only. No orders made online will be able to be picked up at one of our stores.
  • Items ordered by phone for curbside pickup must be available at the SAIL Quebec City store where you can go to pick up your order.
  • Only new orders totalling a minimal amount of $75 before taxes will be eligible for curbside pickup. There is no maximum amount for an order.
  • Items may not be transferred from one store to another; neither from our Lachenaie location, nor between any other store locations.
  • Firearms, ammunition, and fishing lures may not be added to a phone order.

1-Item selection

  • Choose the items that you wish to purchase from our website.
  • Make sure that the items SAIL Quebec City store from which you can pick them up. See the bottom of this page for stores at which this service is offered.
  • For each item you wish to pick up, please take note of the following pieces of information. The instructions may be found at the bottom of this page.
    • The item number (SKU)
    • The brand
    • The model or style name
    • The size or capacity of the item (if applicable)
    • The colour of the item (if applicable)
    • The quantity desired
    • The item barcode number (optional).
  • Make sure that your order totals $75 or more before taxes in order to benefit from curbside pickup.
  • Please note that firearms, ammunition, and fishing lures may not be added to a telephone order.

2-Order by phone

  1. Phone the store from which you wish to pick up your items. SSee the bottom of this page for the contact information of the locations at which this service is offered.
    • Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  2. Explain the details of the items that you wish to purchase (item number, brand, model, quantity, etc.)
  3. You will need to provide a valid email address and create a SAIL customer account here .
  4. Please note that telephone orders are strictly reserved for curbside pickup orders. No order follow up may be done. In addition, our team of outdoor specialists will not be able to answer specific questions regarding the items or other services offered at SAIL.

3-Order confirmation and appointment

  1. Wait for a call from our team confirming that your order is ready for pickup and that the items that you have requested are in stock. Expect a 24-hour delay in response time between your telephone order and the call back from one of our team members.
  2. During the call, make an appointment to come and pick up your items at the store in question. You will have 48 hours to come and pick up your order once it is confirmed. Curbside pickup times are as follows:
    • Monday to Friday, from noon to 6 p.m.
    • Saturdays and Sundays, from noon to 5 p.m.

4-Curbside pickup

  1. Go to the desired store for curbside pickup.
    • Important: you have 48 hours to come and collect your order once the confirmation phone call has been received.
  2. Once you arrive on site, locate the signage indicating where you need to go for curbside pickup, park, and remain in your vehicle.
  3. Phone the store in order to confirm that you have arrived and are ready.
  4. Wait for a member of our team to come and deliver your items. Curbside pickup is done without direct contact, and is delivered directly to your vehicle. No customer will be allowed to enter any of our Ontario store locations.
  5. Once you have your items, proceed to payment with the help of a terminal. The accepted methods of payment are:
    • Debit cards from Canadian banks
    • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express)
    • SAIL gift cards
    • Cash payments will not be accepted.
  6. Once the transaction has been completed, you will receive your receipt via e-mail.
  7. Please note that it is not possible to exchange or return merchandise from your vehicle during a curbside pickup order. It is also not possible to try on merchandise in your vehicle when doing a curbside pickup. However, you will be able to enter the store once your order has been picked up and paid for in order to try on the item(s) and/or to make a return or exchange.

FAQ

Curbside pickup is a new service that we are offering during our temporary store closures. You may place a telephone order and come to pick up your order at your desired SAIL store (with the exception of our Lachenaie location where the curbside pickup in store is not currently offered*).


Curbside pickup orders for in-store merchandise is offered at our Quebec City location only.


We are currently testing out a pilot project and are going over our curbside pickup operations during the store reopening period. For the moment, we are testing this project at our Quebec City store only. We will reassess the situation within the next few weeks. More details to come.


Phone orders may be made Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Curbside orders may be picked up Monday to Friday, from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, from noon to 5 p.m.


The accepted payment methods are: debit cards from Canadian banks, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express), as well as SAIL gift cards.


There are no additional fees to pay; this is a free service.


Unfortunately, it will not be possible to try on merchandise during this time.


Unfortunately, only new orders made by phone will be eligible for curbside pickup.

Firearm and ammunition sales require certain security protocols that cannot be carried out during curbside pickup. In order to respect these security protocols, sale of these items will only be offered once our stores reopen.


SAIL offers thousands of fishing lures to its customers. This extremely wide selection makes telephone ordering more difficult and extends the waiting time for curbside pickup orders. Consequently, it is not possible to order these items by phone for curbside pickup so as to serve the highest number of customers possible. It is possible, however, to purchase a vast variety of lures online at sail.ca. More details to come.


Unfortunately, it is not possible to return or exchange merchandise during a curbside pickup. However, you will be able to enter the store once your order has been picked up and paid for in order to make a return or exchange.
