Frustrating assembly process, deal breaker.

This tent is a bit of a disappointment for me. There are a couple of easy design issues that should have been resolved in product development. The tent portion and the metal frame don't completely separate, which could have been resolved with a carabiner between them. I could do this, but I shouldn't have to. The poles should include some of those spring snaps to keep them connected during assembly. Without them, you need a second person for assembly. The tent frame is wide enough that you can't hold one section without another pole collapsing at the opposite end of the tent. I bought this tent instead of one of the square style quick assembly shelters, because of the stability, but the complicated and frustrating assembly is a deal breaker for me. The rest of the tent is as you'd expect, and the quality seems fine. I haven't had any rusting, as the above poster has, and I've used it twice. Finally, this thing is really, really heavy.

Overall good product

I've had this kitchen tent for about 3 camping seasons. It was the closest one that matched my needs and pricing sensitivity.

Pros: After 3 seasons, multiple dogs hanging out in it, it doesn't have any damage on the screens:). It's held up in many rainstorms and I'm happy to have this tent

Cons: I gave it a 3 on 5 for the quality because I found that after 1 usage and rainstorm, parts of it were slightly rusting. The rusting has not gotten worse. I wrote to the company at the time and they said it was normal. I was disappointed in it.
Other than that, it's heavy, not so clear to put up the first time and you need at least one other person to help you put it up.

Overall, I like this tent and I'm a bit harsh in the review. Honestly, I would review most other kitchen tents as a 1 on 5 to give you context.
