Same ankle problem

I have owned a half dozen Irish setter boots of different styles , and have like them all, and they have held up pretty good. Except for these, at bout the one year mark while taking them off the back split at the ankle. Will cut them off for camp slippers and give Lacrosse a try...

Stay away

Halfway through 2nd season and back splits open at the ankle...very lightly used.

2nd time.

Bought these last seaskn for moose up north. Extremely comfy. So 10 days last year and i took them again this season for 7 days and the back split open. The boots look brand new. My last pair the inside lining all fell apart just after a year and irish setter did nothing. These i bought last nov and j am on my way to sail to see what they will do about it. This is second time with irish setters and sail. Could be my last for both. Very disappointed

Soles fell off

I had the same issues as the other reviews. The stitching came apart on the sole causing them to leak. I emailed IrishSetter and they were not willing to replace them at less than a year old. You'd think after what they want for a pair they would take better care of their customers. Not the case.

Comfy, but poor stitching

Bought these boots and they were the most comfy, easy to hike in boots I've ever worn.... That was until the stitching on the back of ankle gave out not even a year in, and I was in the middle of thunder bay moose hunting with very wet feet for the rest of the trip. Not impressed

Vulnerable Boot

Bought these a month ago. Spent 9 days walking through the bush and they developed a large tear in the rubber on the back of the boot at the ankle.
Likely a result of having to pull them off as they are a tight fitting boot.
Boots are now trash. Was going to exchange but other reviews are not looking good either so will probably return.
For $200 I expect more Irish Setter. Shame on you.
