New service: Propane tank exchange
You can now purchase a reusable propane tank at a SAIL store for $20.99*. When it's empty, bring it back and exchange it for a new full tank for only $7.99*. This new service is available in all of our stores in Quebec (except in Brossard). Please visit any of our stores for more details.

How does it work in 3 steps?
Step 1
Go to the checkout counter at the SAIL store of your choice.
Step 2
Two options available: Specify whether you want to purchase a new propane tank or just do an exchange.
Step 3
Proceed outside the store with your receipt to pick up your new tank or to return your empty tank and exchange it for a full one.
Environmentally friendly and economical, reusable propane tanks are a winning choice over single-use tanks. When you return your empty tank it is returned to the factory to be refilled and put back on the market. A simple gesture that allows you to enjoy the pleasures of summer while helping to preserve the environment.
