In accordance with our Privacy Policy, we will obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information. We only use certain information for the purpose for which it was collected, and we limit the collection to essential information only.

Important change
In accordance with the new rules in force, please note that we will no longer be able to keep a record of your purchases, even if you had a VIP account with SAIL in the past. Going forward, the only way to keep track of your future transactions in our system is to become a member of our Explore+ rewards program.

This Policy is meant to comply with Canadian federal and provincial privacy laws. Its purpose is to explain the following:

The types of personal information we collect when you visit the SAIL website, SAIL’s career platform, the SAIL blog, a SAIL store or one of SAIL's social networks;

This Policy does not apply to information concerning SAIL's employees or its suppliers. Our sites are intended for people aged 14 and over. We reserve the right to change the content of this Policy at any time. Any changes will appear on our website. The date of the latest version of this Policy is stated at the top of the page. Your continued use of our services or purchase of our products following the posting or notice of changes to this Policy will mean that you accept the changes to this Policy. It is your obligation to ensure that you read, understand and accept the latest version of this Policy.

SAIL only collects personal information about you that is necessary for the purposes of establishing, managing and maintaining our relationship with you. Generally, we will obtain your personal information directly from you. However, we may also collect personal information about you from outside sources with your consent, without your consent if the law so authorizes. We collect and use several types of information about you, including the following:

Personal identification information, such as your first and last name, your date of birth, your home address, your telephone number, your email address, your favourite store and shopping preferences, your user name or your Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

Payment information, such as credit or debit card number when making purchases. This information is collected exclusively by payment solution providers such as Moneris, PayPal or other financial institutions, as well as by fraud prevention solutions such as Signifyd.

Information regarding employment and other information you submit to us when you apply for a job, which may include some of the information described above, as well as cover letters, your curriculum vitae and any additional information you provide in your application.

Your preferences, such as information regarding product interests, comments, product evaluations and opinions expressed in surveys.

When you interact with SAIL

Personal information may be collected when you visit one of SAIL's stores, place an order online, subscribe to receive our newsletter, interact with our social platforms, participate in sweepstakes or contests, submit questions, comments or suggestions to our customer service team (via phone, email or chat), take part in online surveys or product evaluations, apply for a job with SAIL, or participate in other online or in-store activities. All personal information you provide when interacting with SAIL is subject to this Policy.
