Description

The N°08 Horizon, the durable pocket knife designed for all multisport activities. With its understated design and natural inspiration, the N°08 Horizon Khaki is the ideal companion for all your outdoor adventures. Sturdy and practical, it is designed for outdoor enthusiasts looking for a versatile tool suited to all their activities: hiking, camping, mountain biking or canoeing. The N°08 Horizon Khaki features an 8 cm smooth stainless steel blade offering high corrosion resistance and a high-quality cut. Its polyamide handle, containing 30% fibreglass, is water-resistant and withstands extreme temperatures. It features a built-in whistle and a lanyard hole so you can attach the knife wherever you like.

  • Blade length: 8.35 cm
  • Handle length: 10.9 cm
  • The handle is made from fibreglass-reinforced polymer, providing excellent resistance to impacts, water, and extreme temperatures (-40 °C to +80 °C)
  • A whistle is integrated into the butt of the handle. Ball-free and designed to work in all weather conditions, it produces a powerful 110 dB sound and has a range of approximately 300 metres in open areas
  • Safety ring: stainless steel Virobloc with a specific black surface treatment to increase corrosion resistance. This treatment is sensitive to scratches, avoid using abrasive sponges or cleaning products
  • Martensitic stainless steel:

  • Opinel stainless steel blade steel is an optimized grade designed to provide both high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance
  • The blade offers excellent sharpness and high abrasion resistance (wear resistance), allowing it to withstand regular contact with hard materials such as ceramic before requiring resharpening
  • Stainless steel has the advantage of requiring no special maintenance under normal conditions of use, unlike carbon steel. However, it may reach its limits when exposed to an aggressive environment for prolonged periods (acid, salt water, detergents, etc.)
