Borealis
The outdoors is for everyone, not solely the nature fanatics. In fact, open, green spaces are within everyone's reach, and it is no coincidence that they are so vast and diverse. The reason for this is that the people who are heading outdoors all have one thing in common: a love for fresh air and activities. Borealis opens the door to the outdoors.
By choosing this local brand, you leave with the peace of mind that you can climb, hike, swim, fish, glide on the snow, or re-energize outside without ever having to worry about comfort or durability.

A local brand
The team designs all clothing and footwear in Montreal, Quebec and its collections are offered exclusively at SAIL. Borealis meets the needs of people in the northern hemisphere for whom time is a precious resource and the great outdoors a playground. The pieces adapt to the changing seasons and are built to withstand variable weather conditions, including the harshness of Canadian winters.
Maintenance
How do you wash a Borealis jacket?
Maintaining a jacket is quite simple. Be sure to follow the care instructions on the product label and/or packaging before washing.
If you have a down jacket, close all zippers and pockets. Place it in a front-loading washing machine with a gentle cycle (top-loading machines may damage your jacket). Use a detergent specifically designed for down or a mild soap. Once clean, carefully remove the jacket from the washing machine; wet down is quite fragile. Place it in the dryer on very low heat with a couple of clean tennis balls to fluff it out or dry it flat on a drying rack to preserve its shape.
If you have a jacket made of synthetic fabrics, put it in the washing machine on a regular cycle with cold or warm water, then let it air dry.
Borealis pieces have been designed to make your life easier from their use to their maintenance.
How do you wash a Borealis swimsuit?
Be sure to follow the care instructions on the product label and/or packaging before washing.
Rinse your swimsuit in cold water before putting it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle using cold water. Use a mild detergent. Dry the swimsuit flat and never put it in the dryer.
